On this Christmas Eve morning, we woke to a winter wonderland. After three days of rain, fog, sleet and snow, everything was covered in a blanket of icy diamonds. Our corner was glistening. I slipped into a pair of boots, still in my nightgown, grabbed the camera, and went out to try and capture some of the beauty. It was so silent and peaceful as the sun rose above the tree line; all I could hear was the crackling of the ice on the branches and the fluttering of the chickadee's wings as they came to the feeder. It made me think of that Silent Night so long ago, the night our Savior came to earth to be born a child..."all is calm, all is bright..."
I wish you and yours the richest blessings as we celebrate the birthday of our King.
Merry Christmas!
